Matthews Playhouse offers summer drama camps that include drama, art, games, music and dance.  Each camp offers a rotation to 3 areas, lead by our professional drama, music, art and dance instructors.  Each day campers will spend time with 3 different art forms depending on the camp you have selected.  On the final day, campers will wrap up the camp activities and bring home all of their treasures.  Some camps involve a chance for you to come and see what they have been working on; others finish with a big bang on their own.  In the summer one-week camps, we focus more on the process of drama, dance, art and music rather than production and performance.  If your child is interested in a performing experience, we offer six drama production camps.

Camps are filled on a first come, first served basis and size is limited so please register early. 
Partial refunds will be made with a 3 week cancellation notice, less a $25 processing fee.
There will be a $25 fee each and every time you switch your camp registration to another week.
  All students must be designated age by Jan. 1, 2008.  Full and partial scholarships are
available on request and will be considered up until May 1, 2008.
If you are registering on-line, a $4 handling fee (shown as shipping) will be assessed.

All the Time!  Dancing!  Acting!  Singing!   We'll run the gamut including: Dance: Jazz, Tap and Stage Combat, and spend the afternoon working on how to audition, how to write blocking, make-up for the stage and special effects.  By the end you'll be ready for Broadway!    On Friday we'll share some of what we have learned with an invited audience.
