Matthews Playhouse of the Performing Arts is a nonprofit community theatre in Matthews, North Carolina. Founded in 1995 to give this community a place to experience and take part in the performing arts. What began as a small children's theatre, Matthews Playhouse now welcomes thousands of visitors a year to a full season of productions, classes, camps, and special events.
