Parking
Parking is free. You will find available spaces adjacent to the Matthews Community Center, 100 E. McDowell St., Matthews.
Hours
The Matthews Community Center opens at least 60 minutes before the performance start time, and theatre doors open 20 to 30 minutes before curtain.

Just off Trade Street in downtown Matthews, between Matthews Elementary and First Baptist Church. Use the directions link for turn-by-turn navigation.
Accessibility
The Matthews Community Center and Fullwood Theatre are fully accessible with ramps and an elevator to bypass all stairways. Audio listening devices, closed captioning, and sensory-friendly performances available. Finding Us
Matthews Playhouse sits in the heart of downtown Matthews, inside the Matthews Community Center at 100 East McDowell Street, Matthews, NC 28105.

Park for free
Use the lot beside the Community Center, the school bus lot behind it, or the side and rear lots at First Baptist Church.

Come in from East McDowell Street
The main entrance is at the drop-off zone. There is an accessible entrance, an elevator, and accessible seating and restrooms inside.

Head up to Level A
Performances are in the Fullwood Theatre, on Floor A, one-and-a-half levels above the main entrance.

Arrive before the doors open
The building opens at least 60 minutes before curtain, and theatre doors open 20 to 30 minutes before the performance starts.
