This semester we are offering one on one virtual vocal instruction, all suited to your unique voice.  In private voice lessons you will focus on the fundamentals of great singing including proper breathing, resonance, breath control, and intonation.  Students will learn new music, how to prepare for auditions, and be introduced to various styles of music.   Additionally, tips for good vocal health are covered to prevent damage to the vocal chords. Each lesson will include 30 minutes of individualized instruction via Zoom. As to resuming in person instruction, we hope to begin to offer those lessons once it is safe to do so but not before the Winter/Spring Semester of 2021.

Voice lesson time will be set individually with student and instructor.  Please register online and the instructor will contact you about a day and time for your lesson.

Virtual requirements:

Students are responsible for providing a device with a camera and an additional device with a speaker for playing their music accompaniment. These needs can easily be met with a smartphone, tablet computer or laptop/desktop computer. The student will also need a distraction free area or room for each lesson. Each student will have a personal Google Drive folder so that there is always access to sheet music, vocal warm-ups, and recordings from the teacher.  These will aid in learning various songs and the accompaniment for each song. Each student is permitted one absence with a makeup per semester, any other missed lessons are forfeited and no makeup or refund will be offered. There will be makeup lessons for any that the teacher may need to miss.
