Meet the Instructors

Hannah Marks
Hannah Marks is a recent Charlotte transplant with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre. She has been seen professionally in New York City, Fayetteville, and the Raleigh-Durham area, where she was a part of several regional premieres and workshops. Some favorite roles include Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors), Martha (Heathers, regional premiere), and Extraordinary Girl (American Idiot, regional premiere). She has taught acting and voice to students of all ages and has the most fun working through material with her students and seeing the spark in their eyes. When not performing or teaching, she can be found writing or reading a good book curled up with her cat.

Miasol Yara
Miasol Yara is a recent graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with degrees in Anthropology and Creative Writing, and a minor in Archaeology. However, her strongest passion is music, having grown up in a musical family regularly performing in theatre, choirs, and eventually several cover bands. Her favorite role she has played is Esmeralda in the Hunchback of Notre Dame! She has been consistently teaching music since middle school, and is skilled at piano, guitar, ukulele, and voice- this includes private lessons and for music education companies. For all four of her years at UNC Chapel Hill, Miasol was a member of The Walk-Ons Acapella club. She served on music team the entire time and as music director for one year. In addition to teaching music, Miasol also nannies, loves animals, and makes art in multiple mediums. She is so excited to be working at the very place her love for theatre began!
