Rainbow Fish Workshop, 2022

Seussical Sensory Friendly Performance

The 11:00am performance of Seussical on March 4 will

be a sensory friendly show to accommodate children and

individuals with autism, sensory sensitivities, or other

social, learning or cognitive disabilities. This performance

will offer audience members lower sound and light levels

as well as other modifications to ensure a more comfortable

experience.

KiDS (Kids with Disabilities in the Spotlight) Seussical Mini-Day Camp- Ages 7-12

To complement the 11:00am Sensory Friendly performance of Seussical, we are also offering a special Seussical themed KiDS (Kids with Disabilities in the Spotlight) camp prior to the performance beginning at 9:00am. Space is limited to 15 students and participants must pre-register prior to the event. 

Date & Time: March 4, 2023 @ 9:00am-1:00pm

Ages: 7-12

Cost: $25 per Child. Price includes 

  • One (1) ticket to the 11am Sensory Friendly performance of Seussical.

  • Special games and activities.

  • One (1) keepsake art project by Coloring On Canvas.

 

 (Snacks not included)

* Parents have the option of purchasing an additional ticket for the show if they would like to attend with their child (not required). Tickets may be purchased at matthewsplayhouse.com/seussical.

Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration- Ages 5-12

To mark the occasion of Dr. Seuss's Birthday, Matthews Playhouse and the Town of Matthews will host a special celebration prior to the 2:00pm performance on March 4th. Beginning at 12:30pm, audience members will have the opportunity to meet some of their favorite Dr. Seuss characters, complete an art project, and enjoy a birthday cupcake or other snack before enjoying the afternoon performance. 

Date: March 4, 2023 @ 12:30pm-3:00pm

Ages: 7-12

Cost: $25 per Child. Price includes 

  • One (1) ticket to the 2 pm Sensory Friendly performance of Seussical.

  • One (1) birthday cup cake (or alternative snack).

  • Special games and activities.

  • One (1) keepsake art project by Coloring On Canvas.
