Enrollment Frequently Asked Questions

What is the enrollment process for classes or camps?

  1. Navigate to the year long class or summer camp page, under the Education tab.  The landing page will have important information, and a button to click to advance to the enrollment portal.

  2. Click on the class/camp hyperlink (far left column) to select that class or camp

  3. Our registration system will prompt you to input your email address.  If you have enrolled with us previously, the system should remember you and ask you to type in your password.  If not, you will be prompted to create an account.

  4. You will then input the information for your children (if not already complete).  The next screen will ask you to select which child to enroll in the class/camp.
  5. Complete the payment process.
  6. The system will send you an email confirmation of enrollment and your receipt.​

    *Once you have registered in our new enrollment system, it will recall your information for future enrollments for your convenience.  You may only register children who meet the age requirement for the class section.

What if I have enrollment or billing issues?

The system will prompt you to send a help ticket to Arts People, our software vendor, for support.

If you continue having trouble enrolling, please call 704-846-8343 or email us at education@matthewsplayhouse.com. Please give a detailed description of the problem you are having and when you tried to enroll, we will promptly respond.

What is the waiting list?

Full Camps/Classes will allow for "Waiting List" enrollment.  The waiting list requires all the same steps as above with the exception of payment.  You will be notified via e-mail and phone call if a position becomes available.  The waiting list is accessible from the appropriate camp or class page.

What is the refund policy?

Cancellations are accepted until 3 weeks (21 days) prior to start of camp/class. If you are unable to cancel at least 3 weeks before the camp/class first day, no refunds will be given. Prior to that time you may receive a refund minus a $25 administrative fee.  This fee also applies to any changes in camp/class registration not initiated by Matthews Playhouse.
