We are not accepting any physical form submissions, only forms submitted through the website.

We are looking for:

  • Adults, teenagers, and young people 12 and up (*see requirements below)

  • Trail guides, scare actors, and wandering actors

  • Auditions will consist of cold readings from scary stories, creature movement, vocal demonstrations, and some improv activities. Actors will only need to attend one day of auditions.

  • This year’s theme is “Brothers Grimm”; actors who are cast as scare actors will be assigned to a site based on a fairy tale and given a role. Trail guides will have more flexibility with creating their own character [within the given parameters]. Wandering actors will interact more with patrons on the front of house side

  • Rehearsals will typically take place on Monday & Wednesday evenings and Saturday
afternoons. Not all actors will be called to every rehearsal.

  • Actors must be available to participate for all three (3) event nights.

*Due to the nature of the trail, the following age requirements are in place:
-Actors must be 16 years or older to audition as a trail guide
-Actors must be 13 years or older to audition as a scare actor or wandering actor, or 12 years
old with a parent participating as a volunteer during event nights.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an outdoor production, which will take place on a natural greenway
trail. Actors may be exposed to uneven walking/performance surfaces, dim, dark or strobe
lighting, plant and animal life, weather and temperature changes, haze, fog, stage blood, etc.
