On a stormy Caribbean night, a community of peasants gather to tell the legendary tale of Ti Moune, a fearless dark-skinned peasant girl who falls in love with a wealthy aristocrat. After rescuing him from a car crash, she strikes a fateful bargain with the Demon of Death to save his life. Guided by powerful island gods, Ti Moune embarks on a quest that tests the boundaries of love against rigid social classes. This vibrant, high-energy musical is a moving celebration of hope, sacrifice, and the enduring power of storytelling.
