Join our 6th-8th Grade Acting class and experience a weekly fusion of improvisation, monologue work, and scene study! Our year-long program provides continuous growth through three core components: skill-building, professional preparation, and hands-on rehearsal experience. The full year culminates in an exciting spring production, giving students the opportunity to showcase their talent in a live performance.​

Pay-in-Full Discount

  •  Prefer to spread out payments? Pay in three installments at the standard tuition rate

      • $300 due at registration (Part 1: Foundations of Theatre)

      • $200 due by January 1, 2026 (Part 2: Audition & Rehearsal Readiness)

Part 1: Core Acting Classes

Part 1 Schedule

  • Students attend class one day a week.

  • Offered Wednesdays, 6:30–8:30 p.m.

  • 10 Classes- September 10, 17, 24; October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; November 5, 12

What to Expect

  • Middle school students will delve into advanced acting techniques through improvisation, monologue work, and scene study. The class focuses on character development, physicality, and emotional depth, while helping students explore various ways to portray different characters. They'll also work on diction, projection, and vocal techniques, developing strong communication skills on stage. With a focus on building stage presence and emotional range, this class prepares students to take on more complex roles and enhances their overall performance abilities.

Part 2: Audition and Rehearsal Readiness
A Continuation of Part 1

Part 2 Schedule

  • Beginning in January, students will merge with the high school class and attend class twice a week

  • Mondays & Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00 p.m.

  • (6 Classes) Mondays and Wednesdays, January 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21

What to Expect

  • Students continue developing their skills while preparing for auditions and rehearsals. This phase focuses on building confidence, understanding casting expectations, and setting students up for success in the rehearsal room and on stage.

Auditions, Callbacks & Mandatory Parent Meeting:

  • Auditions: Wednesday, January 21 (during class)

  • Callbacks: Monday, January 26

  • Mandatory Parent Meeting: TBA

    • At least one adult must attend with the student no exceptions! 

Part 3: Rehearsal and Full Production
A Culmination of Parts 1 and 2

Part 3 Schedule

  • Production: A Midsummer Night's Dream

  • Students attend rehearsal three times per week, with new rehearsal times.

    • Students may not be called to every rehearsal. Casting will be based in part on availability and rehearsal commitment.

  • Students continue developing their skills while preparing for auditions and rehearsals. This phase focuses on building confidence, understanding casting expectations, and setting students up for success in the rehearsal room and on stage.

Rehearsal Schedule

  • Wednesdays and Thursdays, 7:00pm-9:00pm

  • Saturdays, 1:00pm-3:00pm

Performances of A Midsummer Night's Dream

  • Saturday, March 21 at 7:30pm

  • Sunday, March 22 at 1:00pm
