Ahoy, young thespians! Welcome to “A Pirate's Life” where imagination and creativity take center stage.
Join us for a week filled with acting, storytelling, and the exciting world of pirates. Campers will set sail
on a theatrical voyage, embracing the swashbuckling spirit of the high seas and share it with friends and family on Friday!
Moana (Full Day)
Ages 7 to 13

The ocean is calling in this special Moana themed summer camp! Campers will bring this beloved movie to the stage becoming Moana and Maui and embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie! Campers are sure to have a blast. All we can say is “you're welcome!” and “thank you!”

Moana Jr (Half Day)

Marvel Cinematic Universe (Half Day)
Ages 5 to 10

Spider-Man, Thor, and Captain America take the stage as we explore the Marvel Cinematic Universe! In this week-long adventure, we will become our favorite superheroes coming together to save earth from the likes of Loki and Thanos. We’ll explore our imaginations and create new stories with these iconic characters.
Mean Girls (Full Day)
Ages 10 to 17

Get in, loser, we're going to camp! Campers can channel their inner Regina George, Cady Heron, or even Damien in an unforgettable summer experience inspired by the hit Broadway musical "Mean Girls." Campers will navigate the high school jungle through song, dance, and drama, all while exploring the themes of friendship, fitting in, and self-discovery.
The Greatest Showman (Full Day)
Ages 7 to 13

Bring the circus to life! We will rehearse scenes from the movie and learn the songs as we create our own version of the show. Clowning, acrobatics, and other circus acts will come together as we learn about the life of PT Barnum and the beginning of show business!
Week of June 17-21, 2024
Encanto Jr (Half Day)
Ages 5 to 10

We're taking a trip to Colombia and exploring the world of Encanto!
Campers will bring Encanto to the stage by acting as the fantastical and
magical Madrigal family and singing and dancing to songs like “We Don't
Talk About Bruno”, “Surface Pressure” and “The Family Madrigal”..
"KiDS” Camp - Kids with Disabilities in the Spotlight (Half Day)
Ages 10 to 18
9:00a-12:00p
“KiDS” camp is an opportunity for kids with special needs to explore theater arts while strengthening social skills! We will incorporate theater games, props, music, and movement to help campers make friends, build confidence, express emotions, and use their imagination. This camp will end with a small sharing for close friends and family.
Limited to 15 campers.
NEW! Taylor's Eras Camp 3 (Full Day)

Calling all Swifties! Matthews Playhouse is bringing the Eras tour to the stage. In this camp were making the place shimmer with songs honoring the eras of the beloved singer songwriter. You’ll be singing and dancing alongside fellow Swifties to create our own show, made of songs chosen by you! Are you ready for it?
Hamilton (Full Day)
Ages 7 to 15
9:30a-3:30p
Come be “in the room where it happens” as we party like it’s 1776! This week-long adventure will be spent learning more about the real stories behind the characters from the Grammy, Tony, and Pulitzer Prize-winning hit musical, Hamilton. We'll face off in epic rap duels and learn choreography based on the original Broadway production. Our Production will include our own original work.
The Hunger Games (Full Day)
Ages 8 to 15

May the odds be ever in your favor as you embark on a thrilling journey to the dystopian world of Panem at The Hunger Games Summer Camp. This immersive camp is an exciting opportunity for young actors to dive into the heart-pounding drama, intrigue, and courage of Suzanne Collins' beloved book series and movie adaptations.

The Masked Performer (Half Day)
Ages 7 to 13

Who is under that mask? Come be a part of our very own version of the hit shows The Masked Singer and The Masked Dancer! You will learn from professional singers and dancers and hide your identity from your audience. It will be such a surprise when we figure out who is who in our show on Friday!

Acting Intensive
Ages 11 to 13 and Ages 14 to 17
10:00a-4:00p
This acting intensive program will include scene study, movement, Alexander Technique, stage fighting, stage make-up, scenes from the classics and audition techniques. Class will end with a one-act play in front of an invited audience. Students will receive a critique from their auditions. Our evening of theater will be performed at 7:00pm on Friday, June 28th in front of family and friends.
