Broadway Kids is a fun, hour-long class for 1st and 2nd grade students. Our year-long program provides continuous growth through three core components: skill-building, professional preparation, and hands-on rehearsal experience. The full year culminates in an exciting spring production, giving students the opportunity to showcase their talent in a live performance.​

Pricing

Pay-in-Full Discount

  • Receive a discounted rate when you pay for the full year at the time of registration

    • $600 (TK-2nd Grade)​

  • Available only during initial registration before Sep 1, 2025

Pay-As-You-Go Option

  •  Prefer to spread out payments? Pay in three installments at the standard tuition rate

    • $700 Total (TK-2nd Grade)​

      • $250 due at registration (Part 1: Foundations of Theatre)

      • $150 due by January 1, 2026 (Part 2: Audition & Rehearsal Readiness)

      • $300 due by January 29, 2026 (Part 3: Spring Production)

Part 1: Foundations of Theatre

Part 1 Schedule

  • Students attend class one day a week.

  • Offered Tuesdays OR Thursdays 5:30pm-6:30pm

  • 10 Classes (Choose Tuesday OR Thursday)

    • Tuesdays: September 9, 16, 23, 30; October 7, 14, 21, 28; November 4, 11

    • Thursdays: September 11, 18, 25; October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; November 6, 13

What to Expect

  • In these foundational classes, young students will explore acting, singing, and dancing through creative play and storytelling. Classes focus on imagination, teamwork, and movement, while helping children develop their concentration, listening skills, and basic theatre techniques. Students use their voices and bodies to portray characters and engage in fun, age-appropriate activities that foster important life skills like following directions, reading comprehension, and taking turns. This class provides a supportive environment for young children to build confidence, self-expression, and a love for the arts.

Part 2: Audition and Rehearsal Readiness
A Continuation of Part 1

Part 2 Schedule

  • Beginning in January, students attend class twice a week

  • Tuesdays AND Thursdays 5:30pm-6:30pm

  • 6 Classes: January 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22

What to Expect

  • Students continue developing skills learned in Part 1 while becoming familiar with audition and rehearsal expectations in a gentle, age-appropriate way to build comfort and confidence.

Auditions, Callbacks & Mandatory Parent Meeting:

  • Audition: Thursday, January 22 (During Class)

  • Callbacks: Tuesday, January 27

  • Mandatory Parent Meeting: Thursday, January 29 at 5:30 p.m.

    • At least one adult must attend with the student no exceptions!

Part 3: Rehearsal and Full Production
A Culmination of Parts 1 and 2

Part 3 Schedule

  • Rehearsals on Tuesdays AND Thursdays

  • Tech Week times will differ from rehearsal times

  • Students may not be called to every rehearsal. Casting will be based in part on availability and rehearsal commitment.

What to Expect

  • Students rehearse twice weekly in preparation for a fully staged production featuring professional costumes, sets, lighting, and direction. During rehearsals, students will memorize their lines, learn precise blocking (stage movements and positioning), and master choreography for songs and dance numbers. They will also practice integrating their acting, singing, and movement to deliver a polished, cohesive performance. This immersive process helps students build confidence, teamwork skills, and stage presence as they prepare to bring the show to life in front of a live audience.
