Week of July 8-12, 2024

Hotel Transylvania (Half Day)

Ages 4 to 7

9:00a-12:00p

Will you be a monster or a human visiting Hotel Transylvania?

Complete with zombie workers, our hotel will allow you to act out

scenes as the hilarious Dracula, goofy Johnny or responsible

Mavis. We will explore acting with an accent, singing and dancing

to some fun monster music, and of course keeping the mayhem

to a minimum!

Harry Potter Acting (Half Day)

Ages 8 to 15

9:30a-12:30p

You know the stories, now you get to be the wizards of Hogwarts!

Harry, Hermione, Ron, and all of their friends and foes will come

to life as you act out the stories of Harry Potter! We will share

some of our favorite scenes on Friday with our family and friends.

Wicked (Full Day)

Ages 8 to 15

9:00a-3:00p

We defy gravity exploring one of the most popular musicals of all time: Wicked! Students will learn songs, dances and acting challenges from the hit Broadway musical “Wicked.” Through drama games, improv, music, and movement, students will collaborate to construct their own script and present their original work in a one-of-a-kind performance to share with family and friends.

Week of July 22 -26, 2024

The Spider-Verse (Half Day)

Ages 4 to 8

9:00a-12:00p

Anyone can be spider-man and they are all coming to the stage in the spider-verse camp! Dive into the multiverse and explore different Spider-People, each with their own unique stories, abilities, and theatrical styles. Your camper can come up with their own spider-man, or explore acting with the beloved classic characters such as Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy! Witness these icons on stage with a performance on friday!

Taylor's Eras Camp Jr 2 (Half Day)

Ages 4 to 8

9:30a-12:30p

Calling all Swifties! Matthews Playhouse is bringing the Eras tour to the stage. In this camp were making the place shimmer with songs honoring the eras of the beloved singer songwriter. You’ll be singing and dancing alongside fellow Swifties to create our own show, made of songs chosen by you! Are you ready for it?

Taylor's Eras Camp 2 (Full Day)

Ages 7 to 13

Alice in Wonderland- Acting (Full Day)

Ages 8 to 15

10:00a-4:00p

Dive down the rabbit hole and into a world of whimsy and wonder at our Alice in Wonderland camp. In this acting focused camp, your student will have the opportunity to perform in a play inspired by this famous story. Campers will explore the vibrant personalities of iconic Wonderland characters, engage in script reading sessions, and get lessons in tea party etiquette fit for the mad hatters table.

Week of July 15-19, 2024

Beauty and the Beast (Half Day)

Ages 4 to 8

9:00a-12:00p

A tale as old as time! Belle, Lumiere, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts need you to bring their story to life! We’ll learn the songs from the movie and act out some of our favorite scenes.

Wizard of Oz (Half Day)

Ages 4 to 8

9:30a-12:30p

Follow the yellow brick road! Join Dorothy, Tin Man, Lion, and Scarecrow on their journey to Oz. We will rehearse the musical version of our mini show and perform on Friday to share with our family and friends.

Descendants (Full Day)

Ages 7 to 13

9:30a-3:30p

Will you be a Royal or a Rebel? Reimagine some favorite scenes, songs and dances from all of the Descendants movies. We will put together quite a show as students of Aurodon Prep and their famous parents.

Stranger Things (Full Day)

Ages 10 to 17

10:00a-4:00p

A gateway to the upside down has been opened at Matthews Playhouse. In this camp we are taking the journey to save Hawkins to the stage. Campers will have the opportunity to become the characters from stranger things and perform scenes from the show!

Week of July 29 - August 2, 2024

Bluey (Half Day)

Ages 4 to 6

9:00a-12:00p

Come and play just like Bluey and Bingo! We’ll have a great time exploring our imaginations and learning how playing leads to being a great actor.

Musical Theater Dance (Half Day)

Ages 5 to 10

9:30a-12:30p

This camp is all about those MOVES! Let’s practice some great dance combinations as we sharpen our skills to look great on stage. From the box step, jazz square to grapevine and more, we will learn to work as a group to make a song come to life. This camp is perfect for our students who love dance but might not have time for a regular class.

The Greatest Showman (Full Day)

Ages 10 to 17

9:30a-3:30p

Bring the circus to life! We will rehearse scenes from the movie and learn the songs as we create our own version of the show. Clowning, acrobatics, and other circus acts will come together as we learn about the life of PT Barnum and the beginning of show business!

Six (Full Day)

Ages 10 to 17

10:00a-4:00p

We are "divorced, beheaded, and live" in our special Six Summer Camp! This camp is a
sensational journey into the world of the six iconic wives of Henry VIII, as portrayed in the hit
musical "Six." Campers will have the opportunity to sing, dance, and act their way through history
while exploring themes of empowerment, sisterhood, and individuality.
